Many thanks to Darden Restaurants, the National Association of Realtors, and those of you who were able to join us for an absolutely fabulous wine tasting event last week! For those of you who were unable to join us, here’s what you missed...

Master Sommelier George Miliotes of Darden and The Capital Grille, who is one of only 180 Master Sommeliers in the entire world, chose four magnificent wines for us to taste and paired them with select hors d’oeuvres. George was quite the enjoyable asset to the evening as he spent most of it describing everything from the production to the specific flavors of all the different choices while making suggestions about other great wines to try. He started with a select, small production Mumm Cuvee Rene Lalou Champagne that retailed for $125 a bottle and proceeded from there to a Chardonnay, a Rioja, and a Malbec. Each wine was paired with different hors d’oeuvres like Chesapeake crab cakes, tuna apple tartare, and caper berry parcels. To top off this already amazing evening, each attendee was able to take a bottle of choice home!
